Hard work + a real budget + special guest Michael Cera = best TCGS episode ever.

After months of anticipation, we finally shot the Comedy Central pilot last week. The week we spent in the studio was one of the most joyous, raucous & chaotic weeks of my life, and everyone involved with the show was really, really happy with the work we did. The pilot, produced by Funny or Die (Will Ferrell) & Zach Galifianakis, was a half hour of exhilarating, manic fun. Special guest Michael Cera was totally game to jump into the oddball world of the show (see the pic of him crowd surfing below). Fans flew in from all over the world to attend the shoot, so the feeling in the studio was truly electric. Check out Splitsider’s great write-up about it.

Phantom video shoot with David Michalek!

I worked as a movement coordinator on a shoot with photographer/videographer David Michalek. David does incredible video installations using the high-speed Phantom camera. His haunting, beautiful pieces have been shown everywhere from Lincoln Center to the the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland. It was really a pleasure to collaborate with David on this beautiful shoot!

And watch me cover Elvis Costello with UCB comedians Chris Gethard and Connor Ratliff! This one is especially good because I forced Chris to play an Indian Banjo, an instrument he had never played before.
